Mission Statement

The mission of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League is to assist each woman of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.

The mission statement shares what God wants of each of us.  To:

  • know Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord;
  • have a personal relationship with our Lord;
  • love Him so much as to submit to His will in our lives;
  • recognize our spiritual gifts and desire to use them for God's glory;
  • recognize our uniqueness in the body of Christ; and
  • have a passion to serve the Lord when He calls.

God doesn't expect....or to be leaders on our own.  He wants to equip us as we step out in confidence; as we follow His will for our lives, He promises to be there to guide us.
